The Timitraniemi holiday village (also known as Timitra Camping)
is located on the shores of Lake Pielinen in Lieksa, about 3 kilometers from the town center. The area is open annually from spring to autumn, usually from mid-May to the end of September.

Accommodation options: The area has 45 log cabins of various sizes (for 2–8 people), 
caravan and car parking spaces, and camping sites. Cabins can be booked on the Timitra Camping booking website.
 Services: The service building has showers, toilets, kitchen facilities, and a laundry room. The area also has a café with a full liquor license, a beach, a beach sauna, and barbecue shelters.
    Activities: Bicycles and boats are available for rent at the holiday village. There is also a completely free 9-hole disc golf course nearby. Maps of the course are available at https://frisbeegolfradat.fi/rata/lieksa_disc_golf/.
In the summer, the holiday village hosts events such as music festivals, during which some of the caravan areas may be closed or reserved for private use.
In addition, car and motorcycle meetings are organized (good facilities in the cottages, a total of 130 beds, a party room with a stage for bands, etc.).
